December Month of Giving
December Month of Giving
The Holidays are a time of gratitude, thankfulness, and giving back. At L13 MCS South, some of our deepest family values are rooted in these traditions
This year, we are excited to talk about some of our favorite causes, as well as inform on how we can all get involved!
Every week on our LinkedIn Page, we will be sharing a cause that is special to us, give a little background on them, and share how everyone can get involved. You can read about our chosen causes below.
The Pan-Mass Challenge
The Pan-Mass Challenge is an organization that is very close to our hearts here at L13 MCS South. This fundraising event happens twice a year, in the winter and summer, and raises money for The Dana Farber Institute for cancer research. One hundred percent of every rider-raised dollar gets donated to this life saving research and treatment.
The Dana Farber Institute has helped close members of our family, and will always have a special place in our hearts because of the help they were able to provide for our family.

SPCA Tampa Bay
SPCA Tampa Bay is a Non-Profit shelter located in Largo, Florida. They are the only animal welfare agency in Pinellas County that runs For-All open admission; meaning they do not refuse a pet, or limit intake.
We chose the SPCA Tampa Bay because it is where we adopted one of beloved furry Family members, Pugsley (pictured on the right). Throughout the year, this organization hosts fundraisers, as well as donation drives, volunteer opportunities, and SO much more in order to help animals in need.

Wounded Warrior Project
The Wounded Warrior Project is committed to helping our Veterans in their transition journey to civilian life. They understand that this journey looks different for everyone, and their extensive amount of programs available to our veterans show just this.
With a focus on mental health, career counseling and long-term rehabilitation, the Wounded Warrior Project is all about expanding their impact through collaboration with the community.
